I’ve been interested in submarines since my early teens. I can’t say exactly why; I think I was just fascinated by the technology involved.
I did build a few models in those days, the hard way, using planks and files and the like; I didn’t have the money for fancy things like fibreglass hulls and radio control sets.
Some years ago, I decided I could probably afford to get involved and did some internet searches. I soon discovered that things had really changed since I last looked! I joined a group for enthusiasts such as myself which you might like to check out, too: The Subcommittee 🙂
